Position Summary:
The internship position at Klausing Group is a paid position. It is unique in that it offers the opportunity to gain experience at multiple positions within the company over a predetermined time frame. Interns will work in the field under the guidance of crew leaders in both landscape maintenance and landscape construction; they will work with our irrigation team and our integrated pest management team; they will work with managers such as Field Supervisors to learn about managing production and people; and interns will also work with Account Managers to learn about sales and customer service.
Education / Experience:
- Must be an active student in good standing with their school
- If under 18 years old, parental waiver must be signed
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a Drug-Screening and background check upon being offered employment.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a team member in the completion of maintenance, installation, and landscape service tasks under supervision of Crew Leaders, Field Supervisors, and Account Managers.
- Be an active participant in getting the most out of the internship program
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Completion of all daily tasks according to Klausing standards in a safe, efficient manner within the time allocated.
