Roscoe Klausing was recently named to the elite status of Trailblazer by the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). Klausing is President and CEO of Klausing Group.
Trailblazers are a select group of individuals nominated by their peers for being dedicated professionals who have made significant and long-term contributions to the green industry. The program was launched in 2002 to recognize industry leaders who are willing to share their wealth of knowledge with PLANET members. Klausing is one of 122 Trailblazers who has earned this designation.
Klausing has been involved in the green industry since he fell in love with grass cutting at the age of 12. After completing his schooling and beginning work full-time in the Green Industry, he became Central Kentucky’s first Landscape Industry Certified Landscape Professional. In 2004, Klausing became the youngest recipient of Commerce Lexington’s Small Business of the Year award.
